Detailed Description

The 2-WAY ROTATOR is a dedicated engine rotation device used to rotate the crankshaft in the desired direction during Bearing Clearance Tester (BCT) measurements.

Previously, the preparation and measurement process were cumbersome because it often required lifting the vehicle with a lift and using tools like socket wrenches from the underside to rotate the crankshaft.

The 2-WAY ROTATOR is designed with a long, slim structure that allows it to be mounted through the narrow space on the side of the engine. This minimizes the need to lift the vehicle and enables technicians to rotate the crankshaft directly from the top of the engine bay.

Furthermore, the application of a bidirectional switching structure allows the direction of rotation to be changed without significantly altering the work position, enabling faster and more convenient setting of the piston's Top Dead Center (TDC) and preparation for BCT measurements.

It is a dedicated auxiliary device for BCT that reduces workflow and improves on-site work efficiency by allowing a single operator to perform the crankshaft position adjustment required during the BCT measurement process.

This product applies the latest technology to provide high precision and reliability. It delivers stable performance even under demanding measurement conditions required in industrial environments, and features a user-friendly interface that anyone can easily use.

Key Features

  • 1. Bidirectional Rotation Structure
  • By applying a rotation direction switching function, the crankshaft can be operated in both directions without significantly changing the working position.
  • 2. Minimizing Vehicle Lifting
  • Designed to be mounted through the narrow space on the side of the engine, it reduces the need to lift the vehicle for crankshaft rotation.
  • 3. Support for Upper Engine Bay Operation
  • Unlike conventional methods where the crankshaft is operated from the underside of the vehicle, this design allows technicians to perform rotation operations from the upper engine bay.
  • 4. Support for TDC Setting
  • Supports crankshaft rotation to position the piston at TDC (Top Dead Center) prior to BCT measurement.
  • 5. Adaptation to Tight Workspaces
  • Designed with a long and slim structure, it enables mounting and operation even in the limited space between the engine and the vehicle body.
  • 6. Application of Direction Switching Lever
  • A bidirectional conversion lever is applied to allow for easy switching of the crankshaft rotation direction. 7. Improved Single-Person Work Efficiency
  • By reducing the repetitive task of moving between the vehicle undercarriage and engine bay, a single technician can perform the BCT measurement preparation process more efficiently.
  • 8. Reduced Measurement Preparation Time
  • By minimizing the vehicle lifting and undercarriage access processes, the time required for crankshaft position adjustment and BCT measurement preparation can be shortened.
  • 9. Optimized BCT Measurement Operation
  • When used in conjunction with a Spark Plug Rod, piston position adjustment and the TDC setting required for BCT measurement can be performed efficiently.
