This device is dedicated to positioning the outer diameter of the outer ring on a reference jig, reproducing its position. It then contacts the measuring probe with the outer diameter surface and compares the dial gauge readings to the outer diameter dimensional deviation. The product is placed on a circular mounting surface, aligned with the reference surface, and the measuring probe contacts the outer diameter while positioned relative to the center of the jig. Manually rotating the product displays the maximum and minimum outer diameter values on the gauge, allowing simultaneous monitoring of both outer diameter variation and runout.
