The (Outer Ring) PCD Measuring Device is a comparative measurement jig that quickly and repeatedly verifies the dimensional and positional accuracy of the PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) of outer ring components.
Using an approved (good) sample as a sample master, the gauge is set to zero. The outer ring to be measured is then secured and secured in the jig. The measuring pin/ball (or measuring tip) is then brought into contact with the PCD section, and the gauge displacement (deviation) is read to determine pass/fail or relative deviation.
