The (Outer Race) Track Center Position Measuring Device is a comparative measurement jig that verifies whether the track center position (center position) of the outer race is correctly positioned relative to the reference.
Using an approved (good) sample as a sample master, the gauge is set to zero. The outer race to be measured is then placed and secured in a dedicated pocket. A dedicated contactor (probe/ball) is then placed in contact with the track section to read the gauge displacement based on the positional deviation, resulting in a pass/fail or relative deviation determination.
